ISPOR UAE Chapter Day 2026
United in Health Under One DomeISPOR UAE Chapter is convening a two-day event that brings together health system leaders, payers, insurers, providers, pharmacists, health technology assessment (HTA) experts, supply chain specialists and policy makers from across the Middle East. The conference is designed to serve as a regional platform for evidence-based dialogue on the sweeping health system reforms currently underway — and to translate that dialogue into actionable policy insights.

Held under the theme “United in Health Under One Dome,” this two-day event brings together policymakers, payers, providers, HTA experts, researchers, pharmacists, and industry leaders to examine the evolving landscape of health system reform in the Middle East.
Through engaging sessions, interregional panels, and focused policy discussions, we will explore universal health coverage, value-based care, HTA, pharmaceutical policy, and the practical lessons shaping more sustainable and equitable healthcare systems across the region.

Establish a clear regional overview of countries’ positions along the universal health insurance reform pathway and the healthcare financing and delivery models they are pursuing.

Lessons From the Region
Providing lessons from countries that went through the universal health insurance path, particularly Egypt and Saudi Arabia, to guide decisions being made today in the UAE and across the Gulf.

Sustainable Financing
Assess the pivotal role of HTA, real-world evidence (RWE), value-based agreements, and pharmaceutical pricing strategies in ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of universal health insurance systems.

Stakeholder Alignment
Bring together key stakeholder groups, including payers, insurers, healthcare providers, pharmacists, HTA experts, supply chain specialists, and policymakers, on a single platform to address challenges, align priorities and incentives, and develop practical, actionable solutions.

Produce ISPOR-endorsed, actionable policy recommendations to help decision-makers in the UAE and the broader region implement best practices for the development of universal health insurance systems.
